being jewish?

i know wake forest is trying to be more diverse...does being jewish have any effect on admissions?

lol I'd actually like to know that too.. and does anyone know have many Jewish people go to Wake Forest?

Go to the Hillel.org site and I believe that you can find the Jewish population at almost any college

The number given for Wake Forest is 80.

thats only about 1.9 % of undergraduates....thats pretty low considering most schools are around plus or minus 10%.

the Hillel is from UNC...that being said, you could be a pioneer and turn Wake into a place like Vandy; they had an almost non-existent Jewish population 5-10 years ago.....Now, probably 13%

im from washington state and im jewish. im pretty sure that both of those things combined should help me get in.. or maybe i'm just being optimistic.

No doubt those attributes'll be to your advantage in this case.

well the way i think of it, there are 2 situations. There are no jewish kids applying because there are very little jewish affiliations and they are in desperate need of more jewish kids because they have less than 2 percent or... they just do not like to admit alot of jewish ppl. the first scinario seems more believable. just my 2 cents

yeah I'm sure it will work out, just not many jewish people at Wake

why on earth is Wake listed as being in Chapel Hill?
