<p>Does anyone have experience with the disability services office at Belmont? They provide some accommodations with documentation but do not provide any other services at all. Any disability support or tutoring is privately arranged and paid for by parents. Does anyone have a sense of whether Belmont is disability-friendly - or NOT?</p>
<p>I have heard less than stellar things from a parent of an accepted student on another site I frequent. There is one coordinator who also deals with at risk students. She is not prompt in answering emails and setting up meetings and was difficult in granting all requested accommodations. There is no disability center–accommodations are mostly handled between prof and student directly. Sounded like “not” to me…</p>
