Should I choose Beloit or Wooster for computer science if I was offered the same amount of scholarships?
Which college has more opportunities for internships and jobs after graduation?
I really feel that picking between school like that should be about your college experience. They both will likely have similar employment potential.
Very similar cultures/types of student. Take a look at CS department at each school, breadth and depth of course offerings and size of the faculty to see if there are important differences. One consideration might be, Wooster requires every student to complete an independent research project, which might be an interesting way for a CS student to distinguish themselves.
On our visit to Wooster (we did not make it to Beloit), I was impressed that career planning, academic services and another student support function were clustered together in the lower level of the Library as were told that was a purposeful structure recognizing the connection between current academic work with future career.
Thank you guys.
