Below the borderline?? Chances for IS

<p>I know my chances are slim, but I'm still gonna go for my reach. Any chance at all? I appreciate any input, and I know that reality can bite ;(</p>

<p>What’s your unweighted GPA? I think you have a shot if you write great essays. Emphasize the volunteering-- there’s a place on the common app for elaborating on an extracurricular. And re-take the ACTs or try the SAT’s, for sure.</p>

<p>You’ve got good EC’s and being a URM is an advantage. ACT is a little low, but if you can it up to about a 28 and have a good application you’ll definitely be accepted. Currently you have a decent shot at being accepted. Good luck.</p>

<p>Wow, thank you Partyhat and Brothy for responding, I had given up hope and hadn’t checked this site for a while. I think my UW-GPA is something like 3.02 :frowning:
But, I am what I am. I’ve been working on my essays and trying to tweak my common app.
