What exactly is the benefit of having a USC Credit union account? I'm kind of confuse as why i would want to open one as oppose to getting an account from say Bank of America.

Credit Unions typically have lower rates and fees for everything, since they are not for profit. Also, I know USCCU is great for international travel since they don’t charge ridiculous fees for withdrawing from overseas ATMs.

For domestic/non-international students, what do y’all recommend: Bank of America, USC Credit Union, or Citibank? Thank you.

bank of america has ATMs on campus in the lot and theres a branch office right across jefferson from the lyon center/webb tower. you can bank with them anywhere so thats what i went with

If you get a campus job, the USC credit union will auto-deposit your pay into your acct. Don’t know if they offer that option to other bank accts.

Anyone else?
