Benefits of dual-degreeing with X major and MBA

I'm currently a Sophomore and aiming for a Business degree in Marketing. I recently saw that my University has a program that offers a dual Computer Science degree along with an MBA of the students choice in just 5 years. For me this sounds sweet. I personally love computers and programming, but can't see myself actually enjoying programmign for a career. At the same time I also want a business-related job in the technology sector. MY school offers several majors a chance to get involved in this program with the same 5 year graduation rate. (Any Engineering major, geography majors, economics and architecture majors) The MBA can also be any program the University offers. (from Accounting to Info. Systems Management)

Would an MBA in a program like this be equivalent or even better than a full-blown BS in an X business field? In other words, are there any true drawbacks to the program other than a extra year and possibly some summer courses?

You value you would gain from such a program is marginal. The value you could gain from a good MBA program 3 to 5 years out of undergrad could be extremely high. Don't destroy that opportunity by participating in this 5 year program.
