How prestigious is the regents scholarship? For a "non-needy" student like myself, the main benefits I get out of the UCLA regents are the 2,000 dollars (btw, is this per year?), a faculty mentor, a few housing/parking benefits, and a special regents society. But does having regents on your diploma make a big difference in the long term when employers/grad schools our looking at your resume?

yea its per year. rss (the "special" society) isnt that great but it could be worse...

im not involved much but id does some cool things.

i dont know if you get regents on your diploma iether...

but the priority enrollment (13 units instead of a normal 10, which will soon change again) and money are nice. im "non-needy" too, but its nice.

its rather prestigious but bleh...

wait its only 2000 now?

LOL

lol what was it before? it's only 1,000 for berkeley now too

Damn. Didn't get it.

RSS is a bunch of nerds. Boooooooooooo.

regents is 5,500 a year right now

lol every school has reduced their regents $$$. sucks.
