Bentley, Holy Cross, PC...where should I go

Okay, so I stressed about getting into the schools I wanted and thought once I was in the stress would be over, but know it is even worse.

Here is my problem: applied and got in to Babson, Bentley, Providence College, Stonehill, Northeastern and I am pretty sure I will be accepted to Holy Cross. I am undecided as to what my major will be but I am obviously leaning toward business (see Babson., Bentley) and possibly accounting.

If finances are all the same where do I go? I liked all of the schools equally with the exception of NU (too big). I want to be able to secure a job upon graduation so given my skill set business seems to be my only option but what if I don't like it and find myself at Babson or Bentley. Friends tell me not to sweat it that I will find something at a business school to satisfy my interest but I don't know.

What do you think?

Attend a college that offers broad liberal arts and major in Econ. You can always pick up accounting at a junior college.

that kind of what I am trying to avoid (majoring in liberal arts/economics). I want to be able to get an education that will at least make me somewhat appealing to a potential employer.

I don’t think accounting (public accounting or cost accounting) is something you can pick up at a junior college. At least not enough to satisfy an employer.

I know that Stonehill recently got accredited for their business program, I heard their program was great. D was accepted there also, but for psychology.

If you want to major in accounting, then do so. Most instate publics will suffice. (I’m not convinced that paying for a private college is worth it for Accounting.) The Big Four recruit from everywhere, even Podunk State. But just know that there are plenty of jobs available for graduating Econ majors. Think about it: of the top 10 Unis, only two even offer undergrad bidness.

Holy Cross is ranked much higher than Bentley or PC

ranking does not matter if the college doesn’t have the program that you want.

Holy Cross for sure
