Hello, from my early action schools I got into these four. Still waiting for regular decisions to come in. But between these four I would appreciate any opinions, criticisms, and experiences. I'm into the Bentley Honors program with a half tuition scholarship. Im into Babson, and have been nominated for the Weissman scholarship but by no means am guaranteed to get it. Babson is not giving me as much money as Bentley. I'm into Northeastern D'amore school of business. They are only giving me a 10,000 and no need based aid even though my family indicates that we should get a fair amount of aid. Im into the Umass Amherst honors program and the Isenberg business school.
I'm not too sure what I intended on majoring in but I think I'm going to head in the enterpeneurship and management direction.
Please only post helpful advice...
Thanks!

Right now, as far as we can tell from the above, the two possibilities are Bentley Honors and UMass HOnors/Isenberg.
How much would each cost (after scholarships, but before loans)?

Why are you speaking in the first person plural? Why is Babson out of the picture? Bentley and umass would be around 20,000

I’d wait until you get all your decisions (including RD) and all of your financial aid/merit aid amounts in order and then re-post. Offhand, I looked at Bentley with my S and we were very impressed (although he did not end up going there).

Some things to consider are: Do you think it is a plus to go to a college that is very focused on business or do you want a more diverse school/student body? What size school do you prefer?

Defiantly going to wait until regular decision for any real eliminations but wanted to get some thinking isolating the early action schools. I know I want to be business focused but I’m hesitant to go all out in a business school like Babson or Bentley. I’m not sure if I want to keep up some physics and start into computer science. But I am more than done with English. I wouldn’t mind taking a fun history war elective. My ideal school is about 10,000 in Boston or a city like environment. I really want to get away from the small private school life. I’ve gone to a small private school (450 kids) since 7th grade.

we= all readers :)

Babson is not giving you as much money as Bentley and is more expensive, whereas you indicated you need a fair amount of financial aid - the cost difference isn’t worth it. if you get the Weissman, come back to let us know because it may change things a little.
Umass Honors would provide you with the larger environment/smaller school feel you seek and Isenberg is quite good while not limiting you to only a business major (you can have a minor or double major in CS if that’s what you’d like to do.)
Note: UMass Honors is NOT going to feel like a 7-12 school with 450 kids total :).
