I just sent in my application to Baruch College for the Spring 2015 semester and I was curious what my chances are to get in. I am applying as a transfer from Bergen Community College, and this is currently my third and final semester. My GPA is 3.1 and I will graduate in December with an AS in Computer Science. I also work full-time at Radio Shack. I had an SAT of 2120 (740 M, 710 CR, 670 W). In HS I was in the top 10% of my class, with a 4.1 weighted GPA (3.7 unweighted), and I took eight AP course in HS. I received 5 on Calc BC, Physics C Mech, Physics C E&M, US Government, and US History. I received 4 on Physics B and Statistics. I also co-founded and captained my HS's US FIRST Robotics Team and I was a member of the National Honor Society. From what I read I would have been overqualified as a freshman applicant but my college GPA makes me uncertain on my status.

As a transfer, your high school GPA, high school class rank and even SATs aren’t considered. They will solely focus on your grades at the community college. I think that 3.1 there should be good enough.
