<p>Took 8 AP's by jr year; 14 by end of school year. UC GPA low because only 8 sems are allowed for weighting, and sophomore year was pretty low. Jr year was stellar.</p>

<p>Oh yeah: Chem Olympiad National Finalist, AIME (5/15), and COSMOS if that counts for anything.</p>

<p>UCB (Engineering): Slight Reach/Low match</p>

<p>Your GPA/SAT scores suck, but your ACT score is terrific and I'm assuming your uncapped UC GPA is around 4.2-4.4. That's pretty average for UCB.</p>

<p>Your EC's are good.</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure for UCLA and UCB that uncapped is more important than capped UC GPA. About a 4.5 is good for an uncapped UC GPA for UCB CoE.</p>

<p>Thanks Flippy; Do my SAT scores really suck? The Berkeley midrange is like 2100+. Also my SAT II scores are pretty good so...</p>
