yea, it’ll have an update on your decision page saying something about your appeal being received and is currently under review. I wrote about a 2 1/2 page appeal letter and included a letter of rec too. Conveniently it was just the right size for the UCLA appeal too. I’m hoping but from what I hear, the College of Engineering is incredibly impacted.

My case was partly clarifying that I am a better student than I used to be but mostly revealing a huge 400-hour extracurricular I’d left off my original application.

I sent out my package last Friday, and still, nothing changed on myberkeleyapp.

P.S. I’m appealing for EECS major. (I got rejected with a 3.93 GPA with a pretty decent personal statement and lots of extracurricular activities)

My appeal is based on two recent scholarships I received from my current college.

I’d like to appeal on the basis that I wasn’t accepted because I didn’t apply. I feel this is compelling new evidence because I only applied to UCI and UCD, and due to a change of heart I’ve realized that I really wanted to go to your fine institution all along.

Yea, I’m going for EECS too. This is actually my 2nd time. The sad thing is that all my international friends who applied all got in but yet I’m still left hanging with a 3.8 GPA fulfilling everything except EE 20 & 40 and having actual work experience in the industry. But nevertheless, good luck to us both.

No, I’ve found that the healthiest state of mind is to assume that I’ve been rejected (the chances are so low) and get excited about the situation I already know is happening. Otherwise, I’m going to freak out like I did before 4/29.
I’m only checking the page daily at 6 P.M. and no more.
