Berkeley 7 Breadth requirements replace IGETC?

Is completing Berkeley's 7 breadth requirement equivalent to completing IGETC? Do all schools accept the 7 Breadth requirements?

On the UC website it says that UCLA recommends completing IGETC or another schools breadth requirements but it doesn't say that for any other schools?

Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) | UC Admissions

"Completion of IGETC, UCLA general education requirements, or another UC campus’s breadth requirements is highly recommended for applicants to the College of Letters and Science and the School of the Arts and Architecture."

Is this true for all of the campuses? Or is there an advantage completing IGETC instead of the 7 Breadth requirements?

This is true for all campuses. Completing IGETC or the breadth requirements carries over. No advantage really in regards to one over another. Also, the UCs have a reciprocity agreement with each other where if you finish your GE’s at one, the UC you transfer to must accept it. I say this only because I don’t know where you’re currently going to school.

I transferred from UCSC to Cal, completed as much as I could of the the breadth requirements before I transferred over, and then just finished the rest of them when I got there.

Hope that helps.
