Berkeley Accounting

Transferring into Berkeley as an Economics Major this spring. Wondering if anyone knows anything about Berkeley's Accounting Courses. Of course I know Berkeley is good at recruiting (1 in 4 report accepting into the Big 5/4).

I just want to know generally, will these classes usually drop my GPA just becase they are intense. Should I try to do them if I'm only somewhat interested in accounting? haha

Any feedback in general would be much appreciated!

thanks, Kris

berkeley has accounting courses?

As an econ major, you will not have priority in taking classes at Haas, which means it will be very difficult for you to get into the impacted accounting classes. You would also need 24 units of accounting classes to get a cpa (you won’t get hired by the Big 4 if you don’t have one). So I say give up and don’t do it. Its tedious and boring hw.
