anybody got into ucb with Environmental Economics and Policy major???

My boyfriend did last year. Did you want to know anything about the major?

i really need information right now

got no clue for this major.

i am even thinking stay cc 1more year...

if you can help me out!!

i really appreciated... anyway thank u so much!!!

Yeah I got in as an EEP major. It’s pretty basic, good. Requires stats, math (medium-hard kind), env.econ, a couple others, but mostly just upper division classes (you can choose what to take).

What exactly do you want to know?

Is the degree easier than econ?

i am applying as an EEP major right now!!

I had no clue that Berkeley had this major, but it is exactly what I am interested in. I applied poly sci. Does anyone know how to change the major you’re applying for or have more information about this major?

^ u can change once you’ve been admitted, u wont be able to switch over to CNR tho, so ull have the switch to EEP in L&S.

Why did you pick that major? Are you interested in working within that realm?

what is the difference between CNR & L&S?

i applied as an EEP major for next fall!

the difference between CNR and L&S is that CNR is a B.S. degree, where as L&S is a B.A. also the admission rates are different…

@karabear1 what was ur bf’s GPA? ECs?

@Slorg what was ur gpa? ECs?

bumppppppp

srsly… maybe this guy will get back to you in an other two years

^LOLL i hope nottt

Bumpin for jesus

what IS the attraction here people?

Once admitted to Cal, you can change colleges AND declare EEP, as long as certain prerequisites are met. You most likely will need to have completed calc 1 & 2, calc-based stats (Stats 20, 21, or 25), intermediate micro-econ, and an econometrics course. There is a little wiggle room here but that will be up to Gail Vawter at CNR.

I would recommend the CNR route over remaining in L&S. You will be part of a much smaller, environmentally aware community of students.

I highly recommend the major if this is where your interests lie. I contemplated changing to it many times, but stuck with political economy in the end.

@ sarah- What do you mean?

Does anyone have stats for being admitted to this major? Thanks

I’m also wondering the same thing. I have a 3.77. Will that be enough for EEP?
