<p>I know that UCLA already notified people for an interview for their scholarships. Did anyone hear back from the Berkeley Alumni Scholarship awards (the leadership one...and the academic one)?</p>
<p>i'd assume you wouldnt find out until after admissions decisions come out...</p>

<p>Regents and Alumni scholarships are separate.</p>
<p>You will be notified of an award before the end of APRIL, so you can decide before May 1. My D got her Alumni notification just a day or two before she picked which school, so it is very last minute.</p>
<p>But, somewhere between March & April, you must be interviewed, usuallu by the Alumni in your region, though in some cases by the Berkeley Alumni office. Don't be overly concerned if some one on CC has already been interviewed and you have not, there are hundreds of regions and each does their own thing for scheduling interviews</p>
<p>I got my alumni scholarship notification literally three days before the SIR deadline. Really sucked for me cause it was a total rush - that was the point when I decided to give up UCLA and go to Cal. Some admits were luckier and found out two weeks before (it really depends on when your interview is conducted). At the Overnight Stay Program, I learned that some people had already got the scholarship, while others like me hadn't been interviewed yet. Hopefully you guys will be luckier this year with the regions you live in.</p>
<p>What if you live a BART ride away from Berkeley? I suppose I'd do the interview at Cal given that I'm in San Francisco?</p>
<p>They'll tell you where it is. I live an hour away from Berkeley and my interview was at the Sigma Nu house off campus.</p>
