Just checked… this is what it says…

“We have received your application for Fall Quarter 2010. However, admission decisions have not yet been made for our transfer applicants.”

“We have received your application for Fall Quarter 2010. However, admission decisions have not yet been made for our transfer applicants.”

can people see their aide on USRA?

Nope I check it daily, nothing today.

I also check URSA daily, we’re pathetic!

hahahah we will get used to it :)

On a side note; I read somewhere that they accepted only 17 percent of freshman applicants to UCLA this year, versus 25 percent last year. That’s 8 percent less! Yet I also read they have a goal to accept a third of a percent more transfer admits. Are we lucky or what? Freshmen get an 8 percent drop, we get an increase.

I was going to ask if that was true, apparently UCLA and UCB are suppose to open 500 transfer slots due to the economy. I read this in the annual budget paper. It may be across the UC system though.

i wish thats true…

I guess we will see, it may semi-stagnat gpa’s necessary to get into impacted majors

Cali Trumpet: UCLA has been my dream school since like 4th grade, haha. I’m damn well a bit nervous about it! But anyways, I am definitely not a guaranteed in. My major has an acceptance rate of 12.63% and an average admitted GPA of 3.79. It’s not a for sure in AT ALL. Computer science, by the way.

Yeah, but your GPA is more than a tenth higher than the average. That is more than enough wiggle room imo.

I understand your fear though… nothing is certain. I still think you have an excellent shot.

We’ll see what happens. Even if I don’t get in, I’ve still got great options with SB and Davis. Where’s your top choice by the way? Wasn’t it Davis?

Hey My friend also got rejected from LA !!

(I was like… ***?

and he said “LA state” .)

Davis, indeed.

I agree, Davis and Santa Barbara are both excellent schools. This is really a win-win situation no matter what the outcome is.

I booked a room in vegas for the first of May, so If I don’t get in I’m going to jump right off the Stratosphere.

@lintij

That’s the spirit.

after I ride the coaster.

Maybe a few drinks too.

lol right after the coaster.

+1

:(
