<p>I'm trying to cover all ground, here.</p>
<p>Berkeley is about 8 hours away from where I live. I was wondering if anyone who has attended/goes to Berkeley (with this similar time gap) still finds enough time to visit home, and if so, how often?</p>
<p>During winter, Thanksgiving and Spring Break. I find that often enough. Even though I was a bit homesick at first, I got use to it. I’m sure you will too once you find a group of friends here. Winter break even seemed really long because you get bored at home and want to see your new friends again :)</p>
<p>I (officially) live in San Diego and drove down and back for Christmas.</p>
<p>I don’t particularly like it there, though, so…well, I’ll say that I COULD go down more frequently, but I don’t because I don’t want to.</p>
