Berkeley Appeal Worth It?

i know CA residency is a major point for all UCs in general. if out-of-state admissions are minimal, international admissions are worse. i would know. I'm an international student in the process of becoming a US citizen, which is virtually guaranteed (US-citizen parent). I already have a house in CA, so declaring CA recidency would be immediate. I think Berkeley is a match for me and I love everything about it.

Are the following additions substantial enough to merit an appeal?
-CA RESIDENCY
-increased SAT II scores (taken in Jan. Sent to UCs anyways, but don't know if they were considered)
-Mock trial first place defense expert witness county division)
- Habitat for Humanity community service (48hrs up tp today)

also, UCLA accepted. therefore, not an absolute Bekeley reject (right? :S)

 • can send up to 4 letters of recomendation for support

Probably not- on your application, you already answered questions about your residency on your application and usually, an appeal is only granted if there is wrong/missing information.

Did you make sure you’d be a CA resident according to the university by the time you enroll?
