<p>Okay, so I decided I would transfer out of SDSU next year (since damn it's too late for me to opt out and I'm too excited to opt out anyway so I'll just make do trying to knock off Breadth Requirements the best I can) and go into San Diego Mesa. They offer ENV DES 11A and 11B, or their equivalents (which is basically drafting and design), but they don't offer ENV DES 1.</p>

<p>well if the city college doesn't offer the courses to satisfy CAL's requirement, try to find some other city college that is close to you. If not, contact their admissions counselors. I think usually they are forgiving for situations like that. And plus, CAL doesn't require any portfolio upon admission, so they should be more lenient.</p>
<p>Yeah, I've been checking and the closest one is about 100 miles away in Los Angeles, which I think is Cerritos.</p>
<p>Anyways, I've been checking out summer sessions in Berkeley and was wondering if you'd recommend doing something like that. Obviously it's WAY farther than LA from San Diego, but I'm willing to go that far if it means finishing a pre-req for Cal.</p>
<p>I think going to their summer sessions help, but again, talk to their admission counselors. I would give you that info because I have talked to them once before, but I didn't go there so I didn't keep their info.</p>
