<p>I was wondering if anyone can provide a little information about basketball at Berkeley. I just recently attended a general campus tour. I remember the guide talking about how there are NCAA division 1, clubs and Intramurals. Clubs are a step above intramurals and require tryouts, etc.</p>
<p>I looked online already and could only find information about NCAA and intramurals. Anyone know anything about whether there is a basketball club and how and when to apply to participate if I attend?</p>

<p>No basketball club. Only soccer and some other sports. If you really want to play competitive basketball, play in the A league in intramural…it’s no joke. those guys practice, and they have plays for every possible situation. It’s pretty crazy. Oh yea, if your do play in that league, make sure sure ur prepared. Those guys that play in that league are big, fast, and skilled. Some barely missed NCAA cut. My friend who is about 6’4 210 or so pounds got pretty badly injured trying to take a charge. so be aware.</p>
