Berkeley chances

so out of the UC’s I applied to, UCSB, UCR, UCB, and UCSC I was only accepted to Riverside. denied from Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz and I hear from Berkeley next Thursday. I’m pretty sure I have no chance of getting in but in January I got a supplemental questionnaire on hardships and I also had to give my first semester senior grades I had all A’s with 3 AP Classes and I also applied under African American Studies major, which I heard isn’t difficult to get in… Can anyone give me realistic advice on what to think about my chances. no need to sugar coat it. Thank you in advance!!!

I’m and African American female from California
3.11 GPA
1510 SAT

I don’t think that you’ll be accepted into UC Berkeley. That isn’t to say that you wouldn’t be able to handle the workload or be a valuable asset to the institution. It’s just that an admissions officer is not obliged to accept you based on a cursory reading of your academic statistics. If you have your heart set on Berkeley, I would suggest improving these statistics through two years at community college and then transfer into the university. Good luck!

Rejection, sorry. If UCB is your dream school, I would suggest going to CCC and taking all your pre-recs, then try again in a few years.

Your SAT and GPA are too low so probably a rejection.
