<p>I’m a little bit disappointed. I really felt at home in Berkeley, and was looking forward to being able to learn there. This was my first rejection, having been accepted to Cal Poly SLO, UCSB, UCSC, UCD, UCSD, and UCLA, with scholarships to SB, SC, and SD. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. I have a tough decision now, hopefully I like UCLA when I visit it next week.</p>

<p>Seeing how high Berkeley’s standards are especially for international applicants and seeing all these exceptional applicants who are running their own hedge funds and publishing books, I’m really happy and so thankful to have been accepted! After seeing 2 rejections in a row from Northwestern and Columbia and wait-listed at Princeton, I pretty much had lost hope. Congrats to everyone who got in and don’t be discouraged by the decisions from other colleges, because it really is true that college’s look for a certain ‘fit’ among their applicants. Don’t be scared and always apply, and rmb to always be yourself when writing your essays - they count for a lot! :D</p>
