I was admitted into but I would like to get into EECS at Cal but I heard that is next to impossible? Should I go and try and get into EECS or should i just start straight with EE at UCLA? I don't wanna go to Cal and waste my time in a major i don't really want.....
answers please!

First of all, know that there is a difference between Berkeley CS and Berkeley EECS. The latter one is much harder.

I'd suggest you give it a try, and if you can't make it or it's too hard, you can switch down to just plain CS.

The opportunities at Berkeley make it worthwhile.

No I am already in CS but I want EECS and I heard that is hard to switch into so I just wanna just start in EE at UCLA because im already in there

If you want to do EE, you should go to UCLA. Going to Berkeley and trying to transfer into EECS would be very very difficult. You'd have to get very high grades in math, physics, and cs from your first semester at Cal, even then there are no guarantees.

Of course, the Computer Science major at Berkeley is world famous, etc., but if you want the electrical engineering, you should go to UCLA

If you're so intent on EE, go to LA. You probably don't want to go through the pain of switching colleges, especially from L&S to CoE.
