Maintain Academic Performance
Maintain the grade point average and complete the courses and number of units you reported in your application and in any subsequent course updates. You must be in good standing at your last institution of attendance. Also, if you attended another UC campus in regular session prior to enrollment at UCLA, you must have been in good standing when you left that UC campus. Notify our office immediately of any withdrawals, incomplete grades, drop in academic performance [including any D or F grades], or other changes to your class schedule.

i have called the cal admission officer and told her about my situation ,
i am expecting to get a C on my calc1, and B on my english
since calc1 is 5 units, so it's gonna be lower than 3.0 even i got A on english
she said it would be okay if i do good on one class (like B or better )and another class is not lower than C
i hope what she said is true

I got accepted with 3.5 gpa and English major.

I dropped an online lab course, required for the IGETC because of my professor (this is not an excuse.. trust me) and my acceptance was withdrawn.

I found out about this on Monday and I have been gonig crazy ever since. I phoned like the whole community college and spoke to every dean trying to get my case appealed. The professor was sexist, she was unfair and blamed everything on personal issues sayingher mom just died (like that gives her an excuse to mistreat the students). Anyway.... they're taking it up to the vice president of academic affairs and my officer at Berkeley calls me by my first name now. I promised I will send her cupcakes and brownies once this mess is over.... I feel terrible to put people through it but my god.. this is my life! And to have the acceptance in the palm of your hand and get it taken away because of a LAB that's not even related to my major and worse because it had to be dropped due to unfair grading of the professor?!

sorry. That was a complete vent... but trust me, some people will be going through similar situations and will thank me for posting the info on how I dealt with it and what to do and what NOT to do. I'll let you know how the case progresses...
