<p>Hi! Anyone know when we get our class of 2013 emails?</p>

<p>They say within 72 hours after you submit the SIR</p>

<p>Any UC Berkeley affiliate, which includes faculty, staff, students, visiting scholars, post-docs, and various other affiliates are eligible for a CalMail account.</p>

<p>CalMail email accounts are available at no charge to all faculty, staff, registered and filing fee students, and registered affiliates. Individuals must have their CalNet ID activated to sign up for an account at the CalMail website under the Create Account link located in the left navigation bar.</p>

<p>New students will be added to our database of registered students within 72 hours of submitting their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). New faculty, staff, and affiliates will be added to our database 48 hours after the department enters them into HRMS (Human Resource Management System).</p>

<p>Emeriti are able to keep their account indefinitely but their department must also enter their status as an emeriti in HRMS.</p>
