I've been accepted at both schools as a transfer student for Fall '11. I'm having such a hard time weighing my options. I thought that I had made up my mind to attend Cal, but I'm beginning to re-ask myself that question. I know that Cal's EECS receives incredible amounts of praise, and I think that its proximity to the Silicon Valley would be helpful in job hunting. But I like UCLA's vibe more (though I really like Cal as well), and it is closer to some family members whose company I would enjoy.

My question is this: do you think that attending Cal would mean that I would have better job offers and opportunities than those which would be available to me from UCLA? Also, does anybody know of a place where I can find the average salary of a UCLA EE grad? I know that for Cal, it's about $74,000.
