Know what?

I'm talking about SAT IIs.

So I SHOULD take the SAT II Physics BEFORE applying? or AFTERWARDS?

There's a deadline for the last SAT/ACT examination that the colleges accept. I believe it's the January examination.

I'm not saying that you SHOULD take it. That's up to you to decide. Considering you've already taken chemistry, you'll probably do better on the chemistry exam than the physics one, in which case go with chemistry. A high physics score would help, but you can definitely get in without one (I didn't do physics and had mediocre SAT II scores, but I still got in).

Wow January is quite late..

I'm planning on taking my SAT II's the next two sessions (May and June) and retake my SAT I in October.

Considering your information, self-studying for physics and taking it in the November/January examination would be a good idea?

I'd only self-study physics if you're REALLY good at self-studying and REALLY good at physics. Otherwise, you'd probably be better off just studying for the chemistry one after you've taken AP Chemistry already (Try to take it around the time of the AP exam for double preparation).

I registered for SAT II US History and Chem for May, which coincides with my AP Exams :).

Is the SAT II Physics difficult?

I wish I could say whether the exam is difficult or not. I'm taking AP Physics this year so I didn't have the guts to take the physics exam because I don't feel confident in my self-studying abilities.

Haha, let's take it together.. WITHOUT taking the course :]. (I think I might.)

Anyone know about the latest SATI/SATII UC's are willling to take?

They need to have your scores by the middle of January, so whatever test date is before then and you should be good.

The last time you are going to be able to take them is in December. It needs to be graded, which takes 3 weeks... Don't forget that =P.

So December is the utmost last session UC's will take them?
That means they'll accept a October, November, and December score?

Yes, you can take it all three months. I did October and November. Just remember that you need send your scores to each UC. Do that for your last session of SAT's. If that happens to be December, you would just barely make it to them on time. Scores are probably out by the end of December, and I think they estimate 2-3 week? delivery time to the colleges.

By last session of SAT's, do you mean SAT I AND SAT II?

What is the last Stanford would accept them? (For ED/EA and regular admission).

Last session of SAT's refers to both SAT I and SAT II. At EACH SAT test day you can take EITHER SAT I or SAT II.

Gotcha.

Anyone else able to chance me :)

Chance me :)
