Berkeley EECS

Does anyone know the average ACT/SAT/Subject Test scores/ GPA to get in and how many get into this?

I don't think those stats are released, but they're high. 4.0 UW GPA, or close to it. 700+ on relevant subject tests (preferably 750+, methinks). Very high math SAT I score, if not perfect. Good SAT CR/W scores. Acceptance to EECS is lower than general acceptance, I think, but I don't have data on it.

What I noticed about EECS majors (being that I am one and a lot of my friends are also EECS) I've noticed that critical reading and writing doesn't really matter for EECS majors. I know a hand full of people that scored a sub 2100 and still got in because their Math score was well up in the 700's. Also, take science oriented subjects tests and of course math is important. Most of the people I know scored above 750 on those.

really? for the 4.0 UW? how would a 34 on the ACT math compare?

I'd say 3.8+ UW GPA.

^^ the average is 3.9; so I think EECS would at least have to be at the average.
