Berkeley Engineering?

I'm a senior in high school in Arizona and am in love with Berkeley.

I have a decent to good chance at getting in and my only real problem is paying for it.

What are the engineering programs like and is it worth to go out of state to Berkeley rather than just stay in state to get an engineering degree?

Also, why don't they have an Aerospace degree?

What types of engineering do they excel when it comes to programs at?

Mechanical engineering may be the closest thing to aerospace engineering if you are looking at Berkeley.

If you want to do mechanical engineering, apply for the full-ride [Drake Scholarship](http://www.me.berkeley.edu/StudentAffairs/ProspectiveStudents/Undergraduate/Drake.html). But if you don’t get it, Berkeley will probably be full price for you as an out of state student. (Anyone know if Regents’ Scholarships today will include out of state tuition for needy students, or if the increased money for needy students is only up to in state costs?)
