Berkeley Extension Program

Hey, does anyone know how the berkeley extension program works?

I was wondering, I know that the credits are transferable to UC Berkeley but are they considered transferred credits or UC Berkeley credits? I'm asking because some honor societies at berkeley require a certain number of credits to be completed and the credits must be UC Berkeley credits, not transferred credits.

Also, are the courses easier or more difficult? I would like to take some easy online courses over the summer to fulfill some parts of the 7 breadth requirement for L&S. Any input would be great, thanks

UC Berkeley Extension courses with an XB in their number (e.g. Stat XB2, History XB7A, etc…) count as UC Berkeley courses and your units and grades transfer over. These courses tend to be easier simply because they are generally not taught by UC Berkeley professors.

If these honors societies count FPF units from spring admits, they will accept these units.

Forgot to submit my withdrawal form for Berkeley’s Online Extension program. I was only halfway through the course so I received an F. Any suggestions on what to do?
