<p>Assuming you’re talking about the res halls…</p>
<p>Move-In Day for the res halls is on the weekend before the first day of classes. So this year it’s Aug 21-22. Triples move in on Saturday and doubles move in on Sunday. Classes start on Aug 26 (Thursday).</p>

<p>Semester begins is more of an administrative comment, related to other staff and not to when students should arrive. Instruction begins is the first day of classes. August 19th is the start of the Fall semester, but dorm residents can’t move in till the 22nd (or 21st for triples). Classes begin on the 26th. </p>
<p>Dr. P - that is the information for students who were moving in this current semester - above the link on the Housing site is a slightly obscure “Spring 2010”. It will be updated later this year to cover the Fall 10 move-in.</p>
<p>late post, but when you say triples move in saturday, that includes triple minisuites, right? or are minisuites on some different timeframe?</p>
