Hello. After some research and soul-searching, I have concluded that I wish to pursue a business career. Thus, for undergrad education, I believe the Berkeley's Haas school is ideal for its location and financial aid- hopefully I get accepted. I also think that a career in Human resource management seems rewarding--you get to handle payoffs and recruiting; not to mention, the compensation seems adequate.

However, this seems to be a very shadowed and under looked career, as everyone with a business degree seems interested in banking, finance, and accounting. Does Haas have a good program for someone looking to pursue this career, and do you guys think this career is decent?

I am thinking about aspiring for simultaneous degrees, one for B.A. and another majoring Rhetoric. Do you think this is the way to go? I assume after getting a degree I would need to intern and do other tasks in the range of Accounting and Finance, and later hopefully move up to HRM? Does anyone have any advice on this career and my future plans? I would love to hear it before I make a horrible decision...I might want to pursue that med degree afterall...Thank you.
