Just got grades back for 2nd semester. Total gpa is 2.97 something....got above a 3.0 first semester, but now it is below. Chem was the class that pretty much screwed me over. Oh well.

I used to get A's in high school, but coming here has opened my eyes that I'm an idiot...average/less than average student...I feel horrible. I studied hard for classes, but I guess it just didn't click for chem.

Thing is, am i pretty much screwed for grad schools? I eventually want to pursue a PhD, etc. and go into research. But classes are just going to get harder from now on....

I'm good in english, etc., but majoring in that won't exactly land you a good job....not like MCB will either, but MCB is good for the research that I want to do.

Any advice on how to succeed/improve GPA? Also taking bio1b this summer..so any tips onhow to get an A in that will be beneficial. Thank you guys.
