Northwestern U.
UCB
UCLA
UCSD
Carnegie Mellon U.
Cornell U.
Johns Hopkins U.
University of Pennsylvania
University of Southern California
Washington University in St. Louis
University of Washington, Seattle

Unweighted GPA: 3.73
(Best private school in my state, non Cali res.)

Junior Year: AP Physics B
Senior Year: AP Physics C, AP Economics, AP Calculus BC

top 20% in a class of ~250 (prestigious high school, best in state)
SAT scores superscored:
CR: 660
Math: 780
Writing: 770
Total: 2210

SAT II's
Chem: 770
Physics: 770
Math II: 800

AP English lit: 4
AP Physics B: 5

EC's: President of a community service club, JV tennis, JV cross country, volunteering 200+ hours, members of some other clubs, participating in outside academic competitions right now, etc.

I can see how it seems that way but my school, although great in academics, only offers two AP's junior year (AP US history and AP Physics B). My courseload this year should be ranked as most rigorous.

To add some EC's if anyone is interested: Violin for 5+ years, school orchestra, clinic volunteering.

I'll be applying to the college of arts and sciences that are available (hoping for a hard science major like Biology).
My #1 choice would be UCB or Hopkins, but I also love UW and UCSD.

and once again, my courseload is not weak at all, my high school is known for its tough academics, it just doesn't offer 20 AP's like other schools. You can take 2 AP's junior year, and up to 6 (although its considered near suicide) your senior year. Our school's focus is on getting 5's on the AP exam's, so we're known for having really good teachers in AP courses such as AB calc, BC calc, Physics C, and economics.
