Berkeley living arrangements

HAHA! It would be a CC party reunion everyday, xDDD!

My bf lived in Clark kerr his freshman year. Just know that it will be under construction(remodeling), and it’s mainly freshman athletes who live there (translation= LOTS of loud parties)

^ thnx for the info!!!
:)

I have no clue what I’m gonna do for housing yet…I put “off campus” on all my UC apps. Anyone know if that will inhibit me if I change my mind and decide to live on campus?

What I’ve been most afraid of with living on campus is rules…But, being ignorant on the matter, there may be more freedom than I imagine. Thoughts?

I may also have 2 vehicles when I move (truck and motorcycle) so I don’t know if that would be a problem when considering living on campus.

Ehh anyway, it would be nice to meet some CC people there  (If we all actually get in :p)

Ideally, a two bedroom unit/condo/cottage/house with a small lawn and covered parking somewhere in North Berkeley or the lower hills, within easy walking/biking distance of the campus.

Any other dormers out there who rather not random and looking for roommates? hit me up :stuck_out_tongue: Id rather find someone from here rather than a completely random roommate

Edit:
Im a Male

I’m planning on living in Unit 3. I’m not entirely sure if this is possible, but ideally I would live in 3. :)

I definitely want to live off campus in an apartment. I think I’m just going to Craig’s List it.

And use Cal Rentals

bsc.coop will be the best experience of your life!

My boyfriend and I went to visit Cal just this past weekend (drove to NorCal from Orange County all by myself, ha!). I loved the campus so much and the bohemian feel of the community. However, I did not like all the walking uphill and all that. My legs were so sore the next day. I don’t exercise sooooo that just might be a sign that I should start exercising. Lol :)

I haven’t had the chance to really look at apartments/dorms etc but we did see some places surrounding the campus. Pretty cool I must say.

The moment I find out if get in UC Berkeley, I’m booking a flight to Oakland to search for places to live! crosses fingers

^i am crossing my fingers for you to!!!
