I got accepted into the college of natural resources majoring on conservation and resource studies for fall of 2011 but now that the year has gone by, i have lost interest in conservation and resource studies and has gained more interesting in chemistry since ive been researching more about it and wish to switch my major towards chem. Does anyone know the process of switching to it and if it is hard to do or not? Thanks for the help everyone!</p>

Also, note that if you want to major in Chemistry, there are two programs. One is a B.A in the college of letters and science while the other one is a B.S. program in the college of chemistry. As long as you pass and get decent grades in Chem 4A + Chem 4B + Math 1A + Math 1B + Physics 7A on your first year, it shouldnt be difficult to transfer. Also, not alot of people are aware of this but since you are not in the College of Chem yet, you can take an easier general chemistry, Chem 1A in lieu of Chem 4A. That is what I did! But for the second semester of general chemistry, youd either have to take Chem 4B or Chem 1A+15</p>

<p>You do not enter the business school as a freshman. You take the prerequisite courses, then apply to the business school and major, usually in your sophomore year.</p>
<p>I got into L&S as a pre-business/undeclared major but I want to transfer into the ChemE department in the College of Chemistry. Anyone know how difficult it is to do this? Is it possible that I could change my major before school starts?</p>
