Berkeley or Cornell (Rawlings Scholar)! Pls Reply!

Hi everyone!
This is my first post here on CC.
I’m an international student who is trying to choose between Cornell (Hunter R. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research Scholars) and Berkeley for Industrial Engineering.
I visited both schools, and liked both. There were certain things in both school that I didn’t like a lot, but not hated of course.
Since I am international I don’t know much about the reputation of this program at Cornell compared to that of Berkeley’s.
Which school would be a better choice? ( Academics, reputation, class sizes, housing, social life, location, class avaliability etc. are important factors)
Cost is not a factor since both will be nearly the same price for me. I want to do MBA afterwards( maybe after working for a couple years?).
I have to decide in a couple of days and I just can’t!! Any opinion will be appreciated!
(Will post this thread both on Cornell and Berkeley pages.)

Also, I am aware that there are a lot of threads on CC about this topic and have read them all, but couldn’t find one specifically for Rawlings Scholar and industrial engineering.

Choose for the environment you prefer since you visited.

Academics and reputation are the same. Cornell may have a bit smaller classes; Berkeley’s largest classes will be the lower division math and sciences. Cal is more urban and you have easy access to San Francisco and both local airports via public transportation. Cal’s urban environment and Pac-12 sports association is more dynamic while Cornell’s environment is more rural and bucolic. Weather is of course milder year round at Berkeley.

thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it @UCBChemEGrad
