Hey all,

I'm a student who's been put into the uncomfortable position of having to choose between UCLA and Berkeley. Could I get some thoughts on what premed is like at Berkeley (atmosphere, GPA issues, counseling?, etc.) vs @ UCLA? Thanks!

I'll be crossposting this on the UCLA forum to get a wider variety of responses.

They should be both similarly difficult in terms of GPA issues and atmosphere. Yeah, that is going to be one tough decision to make in such a short span of time. Premeds are known to be overly competitive and sometimes ridiculously competitive at both colleges. But then again, premed is tough at any college.

Any other opinions?

You should choose based on which campus you want to attend. Do you want to be a Bear or a Bruin? Seriously, the academic side isn't going to differ that much.

I'm in exactly the same situation iVinshe. I'll probably flip a coin. :(
