I just got one today, and it's the borderline one. I'm just wondering, how long should the questions be? Would writing too much or too little have a great impact?

it wont matter as long as you answer the question and give them as much info as they need. but being concise is a positive attribute

Just curious - how do you know it’s the borderline one? Are there different supplementals? My S applied there (big reach), but hasn’t gotten a supplemental.

Based on searching around, there seems to be three types of supplementals (disability, talent, supplemental). Mine is borderline because the questions they ask do not have anything to do with a talent or a disability. They send out supplementals at different times, I’m not sure when. A friend of mine got a supplemental a week before, and I just got one this Friday.

hmm i didnt get one even though i might have thought i’d be a borderline because of my school grades or an accept because of my SAT I and II and essays. (i hope anyway lol)

what do the questions ask exactly?

Well, I mentioned a disability/illness and didn’t get one.

PHyRe7 - I think they send supplementals out at different times, not sure when they stop though. They ask about my academics at school/environment/family, etc

agg999 - Everyone who mentioned that they had disability should get one from what I searched through, they will send you one.

Just want to prepare in advance in case I get one. For the recommendation, can I ask anyone I want (e.g. coach, research mentor etc.)?
