While we may only come in fifth place in comparison to the "ivy" kiddies, when comparing Berkeley's post count to the other "CC Top Universities" we're the tops of the pops, baby....

If this does not mean much to you....it just means that you're uninformed. Everyone knows that there is a DIRECT correlation between undergraduate quality and CC post count. Furthermore, the higher the respective post count for each school, the higher the selectivity becomes, the higher the yield, and a larger percentage of their students get accepted to top 15 Medical, Business, and Laws Schools.

So join me at the Bear's Lair, to celebrate, be merry, and rejoice at our successes! CC Post Count- we salute you!!!

How about celebrating all of the wonderful "senior members" who lovingly contribute to the Berkeley Board??? After all, its about time we paid our respects to our elders.

Actually CardinalFocused...Berkeley has about 23,000 undergraduates, while CalTech has about 900. In other words, Berkeley has about 26 times the number of undergrads CalTech has, yet the Berkeley forum only has four times as many posts. You do the math. :)

Ahh...but wait. Caltech doesn't have as many academic divisions as Berkeley, so comparing apples to apples, we could need to discount all those majors (and subsequently the people in those majors) at Berkeley that are not shared at Caltech. That will cut in half, at least, the number of undergraduates and thus our post count is still tops. We're #1!
