Berkeley= Tops of the Pops

While we may only come in fifth place in comparison to the "ivy" kiddies, when comparing Berkeley's post count to the other "CC Top Universities" we're the tops of the pops, baby....

If this does not mean much to you....it just means that you're uninformed. Everyone knows that there is a DIRECT correlation between undergraduate quality and CC post count. Furthermore, the higher the respective post count for each school, the higher the selectivity becomes, the higher the yield, and a larger percentage of their students get accepted to top 15 Medical, Business, and Laws Schools.

So join me at the Bear's Lair, to celebrate, be merry, and rejoice at our successes! CC Post Count- we salute you!!!

Go Beers! I mean, Bears! ;)

hahaha, indeed. we should make a tribute to all the wonderful post-whores in this forum that make this achievement possible. :D

Cheers.

How about celebrating all of the wonderful "senior members" who lovingly contribute to the Berkeley Board??? After all, its about time we paid our respects to our elders.

feel free to add yourselves!

I think a good undertaking for Berkeley students would be to see how much of the student body is represented on the forum.

Also interesting to note that though UCLA has a larger student body than we do, our post numbers significantly outnumber their boards' numbers.

In the future, someone should make a CC decal. :D

Did someone say "post-whore?" :)

haha, I was including myself in that statement :D

I do not kid myself. I know I am a post whore

Nah . . .

:D

Why is everyone picking on me :(

Well, I'm not quite sure what it means to be a post whore, but I'm the one with over 5,000 posts.

Hey the Berkeley forum just passed the 40,000 post mark! That's more than any other University forum in the CC Top Universities! Woop Woop.

(amusingly our biggest competitor is Stanford University at 33,049 posts)

Perhaps it's because we have no lives....

Nah....

Also, we have four times as many posts as Cal Tech...which must mean our engineering program is 400% better than that crappy Pasadena school.

My reasoning is flawless. I should be a philsophy major

Actually CardinalFocused...Berkeley has about 23,000 undergraduates, while CalTech has about 900. In other words, Berkeley has about 26 times the number of undergrads CalTech has, yet the Berkeley forum only has four times as many posts. You do the math. :)

In that case, no change of major for me. :(

"Actually CardinalFocused...Berkeley has about 23,000 undergraduates, while CalTech has about 900. In other words, Berkeley has about 26 times the number of undergrads CalTech has, yet the Berkeley forum only has four times as many posts. You do the math."

Ahh...but wait. Caltech doesn't have as many academic divisions as Berkeley, so comparing apples to apples, we could need to discount all those majors (and subsequently the people in those majors) at Berkeley that are not shared at Caltech. That will cut in half, at least, the number of undergraduates and thus our post count is still tops. We're #1!

^Yay, we're still 400% better. :D

Go Bears!!!

Whatever happened to the Berkeley superstars list???? Idea didn't catch on?
