Hey, I was hoping that all you CCers could help me out with a quick question. I've tried looking for the answer around the net but no dice! When applying to UCB and or UCSD as a transfer student do you need submit an ACT or SAT score? I have yet to take either and if i don't have to frankly i wouldn't lose any sleep.
Thanks in advance to any replies!

P.S. Does anyone know of any top 30 programs that dont require you to submit an ACT or SAT score when applying as a transfer student?

Do you see a space for any SAT or ACT scores? No? There you go. The freshman application has a space for them, the transfer application does not.

Birchum,
it is not always required to have ACT or SAT scores depending on how many credits you have obtained at a CC...I have been working directly w/ a UCB advisor for the past 6 months and I was not required to have them, one of the reasons is because I am transferring as a junior level student and also because I am am a re-entry student over 25 years of age and the third reason is because I am IGETC certified. I also have a transfer agreement signed by UCD and did not need test scores for them either. If you have any questions, I definately rec that you call UCB directly like I did. Hope this info helps =)

(Resposted question) What does Berkeley Update due by Feb. 15 mean? Does it mean we must finish it before midnight of the 14th, or midnight of the 15th?

Mojojo said it's midnight of the 15th, but I was wondering if everyone else read the same thing. Thanks!

I don't believe in finishing essays. Sometimes I take months writing a good paper. I draft it, set it aside for a week, and then I come back to redraft it again. There's always something I can improve on...

Sorry if I sound rude but my God people. Look at the directions and follow them, it really is not that difficult? Startraks...did you see an essay portion on the transfer update? If no then there isn't one. You didn't get "screwed" and there was no computer error that gave you a diff update site then anyone else. Sorry but everytime I read these threads its people asking questions that can easily be solved with almost zero effort or a lack of common sense...
