@ Yunie: No way!! I’ve been considering that too. Cal rarely if ever accepts their own for grad school. I’m considering Business/Law/Grad school lol, so if I go to Cal for undergrad I won’t have a good shot at any of those for Cal. Do you think UCLA’s psych program is on par with Cal’s? Wow! Your cousin is brilliant! What are your/her career goals/plans?

I want to either go into law school, organizational development PhD, or child development PhD. :p. Alas, I am so confused on what to do lol.

Oh ok lol. I’ll still give switching into fall a shot, but it does seem pretty unlikely. I figure I have nothing to lose :).

Yes! It’s true! Cal doesn’t like accepting their undergraduate students for many of their graduate programs because they want to avoid overlap!

@Emil:

Yeah, see! v__v;;; I’m probably going to UCLA for sure then…lol…xD. UCLA’s Psychology program is AMAZING! I wouldn’t be considering it if it wasn’t. They give you such opportunities and private scholarships…if it was a school day I would have totally talked to faculty and probably SIRed asap…hahaha.

My cousin is a genius, LOL. She is actually in the works of being published along with a Princeton student (long story) and Princeton has offered her a full ride scholarship for Graduate School. She’s not sure what exactly she wants to do yet…definitely wants to travel though, since she’s in the process of learning Mandarin (making that her fifth language…) and help people!

You don’t have anything to lose, so go for it! If not, we’ll see each other either way, hahaha!

@Yunie

So is it like that for all of Berkeley’s schools? I was thinking doing Haas for undergrad would actually help me get into their grad school if I were to network well enough.

Hmm, so I wonder if for Haas students, if its the same way if it’d better to go to a different school for undergrad. I would consider UCLA as well since I got in there too. But I’ve just heard so many good things about Haas I’ve been thinking Haas for undergrad and then Haas for graduate, or maybe something even better, but that will all depend on how well I do.

Haha, here I am thinking I’m set on Cal, and now you’ve got me thinking about UCLA again.
