I'm filling out my Breadth Requirement on the myBerkeley site and I have a question regarding the English Composition section. The course that fulfills that section for me is English 1A. I didn't have to take it because my AP English scores fulfilled the requirement. So my question is, which AP English score am I supposed to post there? What I mean is, which one fulfills the English composition req? I took both btw, and scored 4 on both. Sorry if I'm confusing lol.

Which college at Berkeley?

[Letters and Science](Reading & Composition | L&S Advising) accepts a 4 on English Language or English Literature AP for first half of reading and composition. A 5 on English Literature (not Language) AP fulfills both halves.

[Engineering accepts a 4 on English Language or English Literature AP for the first half of reading and composition. The second half cannot be fulfilled with AP credit.

For other colleges (e.g. Chemistry, Business Administration, Environmental Design, Natural Resources), check the web site of that college (see here](http://coe.berkeley.edu/students/current-undergraduates/advising/Undergraduate%20Handbook%2010-11)).

It would be L & S for me. So just to be clear, I could write a score from either of the exams?

Thanks for the info btw!
