Berkeley v. NYU

So I am trying to decide between Berkeley and NYU right now.

I intend to major in something business related (either finance, management, or international business). I have already been accepted into Stern and for Berkeley I would apply to Haas in my sophomore year. Cost is not a huge issue for me although I am aware the NYU will be a great deal more expensive.

Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions on which is better? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the exact same situation… got into NYU-Stern… and Berkeley would apply to Haas later… I’ve heard its really difficult to get in Haas… so I’m not sure :(

Where can I find the specific requirements for applying to Haas?

berkeley is better. harder to get into yes. just work really hard.
and its cheaper.
if i could afford berkeley id be there in a heartbeat. even if you dont end up in haas im sure you can still get a gret business education there

Well, if you go to NYU, you are guarn. Stern. However, If you go to Cal…you still have to apply to HAAS and risk rejection (and end up a “sub-par” major)

Just bringing that to your attention
