Many college ranking sites put Berkeley on the top of the chain, but is there any reason to consider Cornell or Princeton engineering over Cal’s? Are all three engineering programs world renowned?
I have the same question. The graduate rankings seem to rank the ivies and other top universities on the east a bit higher but the undergraduate rankings for engineering ranking them a bit lower.
Size of classes at Berkeley is likely larger than Princeton and most of Cornell classes if that concerns you. I am sure top companies want to hire from all of those universities. Very different feel at each as well as weather. Nephew at Cornell said it is bitter cold there and he was from CT.
