<p>I've been accepted into Cornell and Berkeley (w/ Regents). I think I will major in Econ and/or Business and was wondering several things. First, which has the better programs/social atmosphere/job placement and internship opportunities. How much better is Cornell than Berkeley in terms of prestige? And is Cornell worth the 25k extra a year + ****ty weather?</p>

<p>it's pretty obvious you have put no research whatsoever into what college to go to. Berkeley (Haas) is very famous for it's business school; it's much better than Cornell's. the rankings not only reveal this, but additionally, if you know people who have gone to schools in either place, they'll tell you the same (my friend used to go to Cornell, but has since transferred)</p>
