Berkeley vs. Georgetown

Brief background: From southern California. Interested in business.

Berkeley:
I've visited the campus and it's beautiful. However, the people didn't impress me too much (it's hard to describe).
Since I'm in state, it'll be a lot cheaper.
Haas, if I could get in, would be incredible for UG business.

HOWEVER - I've heard that competition is VERY cut-throat at Cal.

Georgetown:
I've never been to the campus, but I heard it's also beautiful.
I'll have a loan a few more thousand each year, but my teachers say that it's worth the investment.
It'll be a WHOLE new experience - east coast and everything.
Admitted at McDonough School of Business.

So pretty much all the adults I've talked to suggested Georgetown, simply because they think it's more "prestigious" and I'll get a better, more private education.
However, the only reason I'm still holding on to Berkeley IS because of the name... it's a huge deal in the Asian community I'd say (I have yet to figure out this myth).
Parents are fine with either option.

ANY OPINIONS? Thank you

Yes, the Haas is more prestigious. However, Georgetown is in an environment where internships during the school year are readily available. Also, McDonough has climbed in the rankings from #34 last year to #25 this year, and Georgetown is building a whole new complex for them (the design is gorgeous) to expand its potential even more. I think that the future of the school is bright, and that it will be gaining a lot more prestige and potential in the upcoming years as it expands.
