I was accepted by UC Berkeley, UC San Deigo, and Northwestern. I am planning on a career in medicine. Which school would better prepare me for such a career choice and get me into the best possible med school? I was also waitlisted by Johns Hopkins. What are your guys' opinions on where i should go?

northwestern
just because cal and ucsd lack a strong pre-med program
if u got into ucla, that would be the easy choice

you should go to john hopkins if you get in though.

also, medical school is what counts. u don't necessarily have to major in pre-med to go to medical school.

Wait, so is UCLA the best choice?

if you don't get into Hopkins, yes.

Lots of research and a strong med school afterwards.

Admit rate to any med school was 84% for Northwestern premeds http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/pdf/viewbook.pdf (page 59). What about $$$?

UCLA: 55%
UCLA Career Center
UCB: 58%
Career Center - Medical School Statistics
