Basically I like NYC much better than the Bay Area, mostly because at NYU I'd be in a city, while at Cal, I'll be next to SF. Yet, NYU is making do that LSP program (look it up). I want to do IR

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s wrong with being next to SF? You can get from Berkeley to SF in twenty minutes.

It isn’t the same. I live 20 min from Baltimore and I never go there. Also, consider this. Let’s say its 10pm and you are in your dorm studying, but you want to get some ice cream. If you are in Berkeley, you aren’t going to go to SF to get it. You are going to find a place in Berkeley to get it. Thus, you aren’t really in a city. I like to be in a city. I like to walk outside and see a bunch of people walking and cars going and the city alive at 2am. I like being able to walk and take public transit EVERYWHERE SINGLE PLACE I GO. That is why NYC appeals to me more than Berkeley.
